Offshore Fishing Charters:
Reef Fishing:
There are many highly productive reefs, shoals and wrecks around the Cape Moreton area. Point Lookout reefs, 29's, 33's, Deep Tempest, Hutchinsons Shoals, Flinders Reef, Brennans and Roberts Shoals, Shallow Tempest, Caloundra Wide are some of the highly productive reefs within our fishing areas along with other known wrecks and bombies plus a number of good old fashioned "secret spots" known only to the MIFC crew.

Target species: Snapper, Pearlies, Sweetlip are predominant with Parrot, Wrasse, Cod and numerous reef dwellers always on the menu. Yellow Kings, Jew and Cobia are often found in abundance in season. You catch it - you eat it! Queensland size and bag limit rules apply.

Light Tackle:
Black Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Dolphin Fish, Yellow Fin Tuna and many more pelagic species are fantastic fighting fish, testing angler, gear and crew to the limits. These mighty hunters frequent our waters from October through to April/May and often they are here in large numbers.

Moreton Bay Charters:
Ideal for families wanting a relaxing day fishing and enjoying a day on the water.
We fish Harry Atkinsons Reef, Mud island, Green Island, Myora Light and Peel Island Arificial Reef, Coochie Artificial Reef and Potts Point.
Brisbane River by arrangement.
Targeting Snapper, Bream, Mowong, Sweetlip, Tusk fish, Kingfish, Mackerel and other species depending on the season.

How much is the charter: The charter cost $250pp or for up to 9 people you can hire the whole boat for $2250

Where does the boat leave from: The boat leaves from William Gunn jetty, Manly Harbour

How long is the charter: The charter leaves at 5am and returns at 2pm. (4:30 - 1:30 summer months)

What is included: All fishing gear, Bait, Soft drinks, Water, Crew (You can bring alcoholic drinks but they must be cans due to safety reasons)

Can I bring my own fishing equipment: Yes, you can bring your own fishing equipment

What can we expect to catch: A wide array of fish such as Snapper, Pearl Perch, Moses Perch, Parrot fish, Cod, Wrasse, Kingfish, Samson, Amberjack, Mackerel & Mahi Mahi (in season). If you have your line in the water the options are endless.

Can we bring our catch home: Yes you can bring what you catch home. Please bring an esky or ice to take your fish home. We ask that you leave these in your car until the end of the day due to space on the boat.

Does the fish get filleted:
No, due to health regulations we are not able to ‘Process Seafood’ on board the vessel.

What happens if the weather is bad:
The weather is continually monitored. A decision will be made approx 24hrs prior to your charter, if cancelled you can choose to be re-scheduled or you receive a full refunded.

Cancellation Policy:
If cancelled more than 7 days prior to charter – Full Refund
If cancelled less than 7 days – 50% Refund
A no show you do not receive any refund
