A high 1030 hPa near Tasmania extends a ridge across Queensland. A trough may
develop about Fraser Island on Friday.

Thursday until midnight: Winds: South to southwesterly 15 to 20 knots, shifting
south to southeasterly 10 to 15 knots during the afternoon. Seas: to 1.0 metres.
Isolated showers increasing in the evening.
Friday: Winds: South to southeasterly 10 to 15 knots. Seas: 1.0 metres. Rain
areas.
Saturday: Winds: South to southwesterly 10 to 15 knots.
